In viewing the “Vaccine War” video, compare and contrast the different persuasion methods used by both sides of the vaccine debate (pro-vaccination and anti-vaccination) to support or spread their arguments to the general public. Based on all the articles and videos covered in this module, how can the media and technology can be used to shape the intervention program you are planning to develop?

(a) In the case of the anti-bullying and anti-suicide intervention, what is the role media and technology in promoting bullying and suicide? On the other hand, how can media and technology can be used to help inform parents, teachers and staff about bullying and suicide? What type of messages can be crafted and transmitted via media, technology to help prevent bullying, and suicide in a public high school setting? (b) In the case of the obesity prevention intervention, what is the role media and technology in promoting obesity, unhealthy eating and lack of physical exercise? On the other hand, how can media and technology can be used to help inform parents, teachers and staff about obesity and unhealthy eating? What type of messages can be crafted and transmitted via media and technology to help prevent obesity, unhealthy eating and lack of physical exercise in a public elementary school setting? (c) In the case of the psychological treatment intervention for military service members, what is the role media, technology and military in promoting the stigma of having a psychological disorder and lacking the initiative to seek treatment? On the other hand, how can media and technology can be used to help military families, military officers and staff help identify the symptoms of psychological distress in military service members and help them seek psychological treatment? What type of messages can be crafted and transmitted via media and technology to help promote seeking psychological treatment within a military community setting? Please provide specific examples and cite your sources.

(d) If you chose your own real-world scenario, describe how the intervention program would be affected by media portrayals. Furthermore, please explain how media messages can be crafted to help change behaviors in the community setting or private organization
