You may not use any work from another student, the Internet or an online clearinghouse. You are expected to understand the Academic Dishonesty and Plagiarism Policy, and know that it is your responsibility to learn about instructor and general academic expectations with regard to proper citation of sources as specified in the APA Publication Manual, 6th Ed. (Students are held accountable for in-text citations and an associated reference list only). Individual Deliverable 5 is due Sunday at 11:59 p.m. eastern time of week 8 unless otherwise changed by the instructor.Purpose: Students will compile the project components generated throughout the term to create a comprehensive project plan. Outcomes Met With This Assignment: plan a project that meets organizational goals and that has a high probability of success use appropriate technologies for researching, documenting, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle Instructions: This assignment is the last of five individual assignments. You are expected to complete the assignment individually without any assistance. You will create a comprehensive project plan. Step 1: Preparation for Writing the Assignment Before you begin writing the paper, read the following requirements that will help you meet the writing and APA requirements. Not reading this information will lead to a lower grade: Read the grading rubric for the assignment. Use the grading rubric while writing the paper to ensure all requirements are met. Third person writing is required. Third person means that there are no words such as “I”, “me”, “my”, “we”, or “us” (first person writing), nor is there use of “you” or “your” (second person writing). If uncertain how to write in the third person, view this link: http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/first-second-and-third-person. Contractions are not used in business writing, so you are expected NOT to use contractions in writing this assignment. For all source material used in the analysis, you will paraphrase and not use direct quotation marks but will instead paraphrase. What this means is that you will put the ideas of an author or article into your own words rather than lifting directly from a source document. You may not use more than four consecutive words from a source document, as doing so would require direct quotation marks. This requirement include facts from the case scenario. Changing words from a passage does not exclude the passage from having quotation marks. You are responsible for APA only for in-text citations and a reference list. At a minimum, this deliverable should include in-text citations and references for information relating to the organization’s purpose, goals, strategy, and/or objectives. You are expected to use the weekly courses readings to develop the analysis and support the reasoning. The expectation is that you provide a robust use of the course readings. Any material used from a source document (including both course readings and outside materials) must be cited and referenced. A reference within a reference list cannot exist without an associated in-text citation and vice versa. View the APA under Content on the main navigation bar. You may not use books in completing this project. Provide the page or paragraph number in every in-text citation presented. If using an eBook from the classroom, you may see that there are no page numbers so you will provide the Chapter Name and Section Title.Step 2: Set Up the Assignment You will submit consolidated documents. Any project plan components generated in Microsoft Word should be consolidated into a single Word document. Any project plan components generated in Microsoft Excel should be consolidated into a single Excel document (use multiple tabs where appropriate). Any project plan components generated in Microsoft PowerPoint should be consolidated into a single PowerPoint document. The project schedule should be submitted as a ProjectLibre (.pod) or Microsoft Project (.mpp) file. Step 3: Compile the Comprehensive Project Plan Task 1: Review the feedback provided to you for all previous assignments and make corrections and updates as appropriate. Make sure that the content is consistent from one component to the next (e.g. make sure the project scope does not change from one document to another). Task 2: Compile the components into a comprehensive project plan. Your plan should include the following components: Project Charter (ID#1, which incorporates your Scope Statement [TD#3]) Stakeholder Analysis Matrix (TD#2) Work Breakdown Structure (TD#3) Communications Matrix (ID#2) Human Resources Plan (TD#4) Project Schedule (ID#3) Risk Matrix (TD#6)Please note: Your comprehensive project plan does NOT need to include: Projection Selection Document (TD#1) Cost Estimation Techniques (TD#5) Virtual Team Submission (TD#7) Step 4: Review the Project Plan Read the project plan to ensure all required elements are present. Use the grading rubric to ensure that you gain the most points possible for this assignment. Proofread the paper for spelling and grammatical issues, and third person writing. Read the paper aloud as a first measure; Use the spell and grammar check in Word as a second measure; Have someone who has excellent English skills to proof the paper; Consider submitting the paper to the Effective Writing Center (EWC). The EWC will provide 4-6 areas that may need improvement. Step 5: Submit the Comprehensive Project Plan in the Assignment Folder.Self-Plagiarism: Self-plagiarism is the act of reusing significant, identical or nearly identical portions of one’s own work. You cannot re-use any portion of a paper or other graded work that was submitted to another class even if you are retaking this course. You also will not reuse any portion of previously submitted work in this class. A zero will be assigned to the assignment if self-plagiarized. Faculty do not have the discretion to accept self-plagiarized work.Due DateJul 14, 2019 11:59 PMHide RubricsRubric Name: Individual Deliverable 5 (10%)This table lists criteria and criteria group name in the first column.
