This assignment is to be considered a term paper which means students will apply knowledge from THREE different chapters and connect is as one paper. The following topics should be discussed AND connected together so it does not look like a few questions answered separately, but rather one paper leading to a very good conclusion. The following questions should be answered and discussed: What are the characteristics of persons on death row today? (Chapter 3) What ideas can you add to the reasons for including educational programs for prisoners and what, if any, programs do you think could be beneficial to those on death row? (Chapter 7) Compare female and male inmates (also those on death row) by their criminal histories, their family characteristics, and the offenses for which they’re incarcerated and discuss what could potentially allow and help those inmates to become law abiding citizens if given a chance outside of prison?
