Minimum 3 small paragraph. The concept of doing a literature review is very similar to research because it involves asking a question, collecting information and reviewing it to then write a final report on your findings (Polit & Beck, 2017). In order to write a review, certain aspects must be considered, such as the freshness of the information and how current it is. The reviewer must become familiar with the material and this is achieved by obtaining quality evidence (Polit & Beck, 2017).Critiquing a research refers to the opinion the writer forms based on the quality of the material presented. It represents the strong points of the study and the areas in need of improvement. This is best done from a neutral standpoint, based solely on a single study (Polit & Beck, 2017). A writer’s passion for the topic, however, can be used to elaborate on the argument and analyze it fully (Cherry, 2020).Critiquing a paper may be a skill that needs perfecting over time. There are many questions that can help organize the information and create a framework in order to provide the results (Cherry, 2020). There are key critiquing questions that address specific parts of the article such as the title, introduction, research question and conclusion (Polit & Beck, 2017). These questions include Is the title engaging? Is the information relevant to nursing? Were research questions and hypothesis clearly stated?
