For the first interview, you will interview either your own parent or grandparent. For the second interview, you will interview a parent of a young child [0-8 years of age]. If you have a child this age, you may respond to the questions yourself.After completing the interviews, you will write a 2-page paper [less than 2 pages will not be graded] that reflects on the following questions: How do aspects of physical, cognitive and socio-emotional development differ today versus when you or your parent was a young child?  How might contexts explain the difference?  How has child rearing changed?   Your 2 page paper will include the following: An introductionü  Identify the 2 people you interviewedü  Include the times for each interview [each interview must be a minimum of 30 minutes]ü  Includes the questions you asked during your interviews [minimum of 10 questions]ü  Write a few brief sentences explaining why you should keep this information confidential A reflection on aspects of physical development which differ across the generations and how contexts might explain the difference.
