Welcome to Week 13 of Advanced Writing. Please participate in the discussion, aiming for High Value posts. Remember that you must post to two out of three of my initial, mid and end-of-week questions: In preparation for the Journalistic Profile, consider the work that you have done in this course: Weeks 1-3 were spent considering who you were and where you fit into your career Weeks-4-5 were spent researching your chosen career Weeks 6-7 focused on what your past jobs were and what your future career goals are. Weeks 8-9 allowed you to create a portfolio that included your editing and revised papers/projects, and provided you with a unified place to store your documents for future reference. Weeks 10-11 expanded your knowledge of ethics within your career fields and exercised your ability to research and persuasively defend your point-of-view. Weeks 12-13 culminated in a journalistic profile of a leader in your field, one that you could use as a professional role model. The discussion question has two parts: What discoveries did you make about yourself during the last fourteen weeks in terms of your goals and aspirations? How have you developed as a writer over the last 14 weeks?
