For each type (for example, Ad Hominem and the Either/Or fallacies), students will first find or create an example of the fallacy and then describe why it’s not logical.For example: To show Ad Hominem, the student could find a video online of two politicians having a debate where one or both directs and ad hominem attack against the other. They could link the video or just describe it using quotes of the pertinent moments. Then they could describe, in a paragraph, why the attack isn’t a logical argument.To show the Either/Or Fallacy, the student could create a scenario in which the fallacy is used (by describing a setting and showing dialogue).
