To complete the final project, you must choose something that really interested you in the course.  It could be a specific term or something that sparked your interest in the course or as you did research etc.You will put together a project on this topic complete with visuals.  You should also include the recording of a video or audio interview with someone that is an expert or familiar with the topic.  You can also include authentic items that you have experienced from a restaurant or museum or concert etc.  The project is to combine both research from the internet and authentic stimuli that you have personally experienced as mentioned above,.  The idea is to really expand on the information and get into something that really interests you from the course.It should be in presentation form with both visuals and narrative.Please complete a 1-3 page reflection piece and attach it to the end of your project  It should respond to this information from the syllabus and show how you have grown in knowledge based on this course:Broad Purpose of the course-In this course we will explore the Italian-Speaking world in great detail.  The course is a Foreign Language course.  The main vehicle of the course will be English.  References in Italian will be made throughout the course.  Foreign language teaching encompasses five skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening and culture.  In this course we will scrutinize the culture skill.  All aspects of the culture and civilization of the Italian-speaking world will be discussed and researched.  Students will gain a true perception of the Italian individual, which is based on factual information, and student directed research.Curricular Placement-The course is being offered as a component of the foreign language department and will help the student fulfill the college’s global studies requirement.  It has been designed to help the student gain a true global perspective and to realize the beauty in the diversity of all people which is one of the underlying missions of Albertus Magnus College.  The focus of the course is for the student to gain a true perception of this people and to realize that all cultures are unique and need to be better understood through proper research and reasoning.Course Objectives-Planned learning Objectives:1.
