On the flip side, the efficiencies that can be achieved by having software that mirrors and supports well-established business processes very often make the challenges worthwhile. Propose a custom software development project for your BOI. Explain what this new software is meant to do and how it will fit into the IS. Managing IS in a Global ContextAre there any aspects of the BOI’s presence that crosses national borders? If so, address the benefits, risks, and challenges associated with such a global context. If it doesn’t, address a change that could cause the BOI’s presence to cross national borders. If the change were implemented, what benefits, risks and challenges might be anticipated?
