The purpose of this assignment is to introduce the comprehensive program planning (CPP) stages for program development and to develop the skills needed to create an overall plan for recreational therapy services. This is a continuation of the CPP process that was already started in the CPP Part I assignment.
PART II (30 points) DUE: Sunday, March 7th
Conceptualization, Investigation & Determination: Include the following sections in paragraph format following APA guidelines.
1. Conceptualization: (10 points)
a. Statement of Purpose: Develop a statement of purpose or motto for the proposed comprehensive program for your RT agency/department (2 points)
b. Goals: Develop and prioritize four goal statements for the comprehensive RT program based on the statement of purpose (4 points)
c. Create a one page flyer to advertise your RT program (4 points)
2. Investigation: (8 points)
a. As a group, follow the process and procedural steps of the Investigation Stage (pg. 124 130) and list your final top FOUR program components (4 points)
b. Develop an intake assessment for your program: Consider what information the therapist would need from the client upon admittance to your program. (4 points)
3. Determination (12 points)
a. For EACH of your four program components include the following (3 points each):
i. The type of structured activities that would be implemented in this program and how it meets the identified goals
ii. Find at least one peer-reviewed evidence based source that supports using the referenced activity(s).
iii. Explanation as to why this program is appropriate for the population you will be serving. Include at least one peer-reviewed source
