The purpose of this assignment is to draft a literature review.

The literature review is an integral component of the DPI Project,as it serves to summarize and synthesize research done in the selected area ofstudy. The body of the literature review that you draft in this assignment willbe edited and revised over the course of the program to eventually becomeChapter 2 of your DPI Project. Incorporate instructor feedback from theIntroduction to the Literature Review Empirical Research assignment toenhance your literature review.

Use the following information to ensure successful completion ofthe assignment:

        Doctoral learners are required to use APAstyle for their writing assignments. The APA Style Guide is located in theStudent Success Center. An abstract is not required.

        This assignment uses a rubric. PleaseReview the rubric prior to the beginning to become familiar with theexpectations for successful completion.

        You are required to submit thisassignment to LopesWrite. Refer to the  forassistance. 

Directions:

Based upon your review of your 30 selected empirical researcharticles, identify three to five major themes that relate to your project topicand three to five subthemes related to each major theme. 

Using those themes and subthemes in conjunction with your completed”Research Article Chart,” write a 20-25-page paper that synthesizesthe content of your 30 selected empirical research studies.

Summarize each major theme and provide a detailed synthesis of itsidentified subthemes by addressing the following:

1.     Introduce the identified subtheme.

2.     Identify the research questions posed bythe applicable studies.

3.     Identify the sample populations used.

4.     Identify the methodology.

5.     Identify the limitations of the studies.

6.     Summarize the conclusion andrecommendations for further research.

7.     Synthesize or connect the articlesrelated to the subtheme back to the major theme and overall project.
