REMEMBER: Conduct this dialogical engagement (intertionally present and intentionally listening) using Pandemic Precautions. You may conduct this by phone, zoom, webex or face-to-face.

Process:
Select a person from a culture or ethnic group different than your primary cultural or ethnic group and arrange the time for a dialogical (intentional presence to listen) encounter convenient to nurse and client.
You will ground your dialogue and paper in Leiningers Theory of Diversity and Universality or Rays Transcultural Dynamics in Nursing and Health Care Theoretical Model.
Develop a (2) page paper of the dialogic encounter utilizing the following format:
A) Introduce yourself
B) Describe the assignment and ask: How do you care for yourself day-to-day? How do you care for your family/community day-to-day? What special caring activities does your family engage in?
C) Submit with a title page and reference page. Use the following as your headings.
