As before, most essays will fall in the 1.5-page range, which is perfectly fine.

Do NOT worry at this point about proper citations, but make it very clear where your work is coming from (the document, other parts of the textbook, lecture) as before. Again:

You must have a thesis statement, and you must answer the full question, in order to get full credit. Please be sure that your writing is clear and grammatically correct, as well. Note that we are here to help all week. Please contact the graders and/or the professor with questions, concerns, plans, outlines. Thats what our office hours are for.

Please turn in your answer to the online assignment on Canvas, due before 11:59 pm on Saturday, 26 June. Note that I moved the deadline to so late to account for internet and computer problems, so do NOT wait until the last minute to turn in. If you have issues that stop you from turning in before that deadline, you WILL get points deducted for a late submissionno exceptions aside from a documented hospital stay.

Please be sure that you are providing the general context, some direct analysis of the document, and an argument (please see earlier recorded lecture content for examples). These are what you are being graded on. It is much less about proper spelling, as long as we can make out what you are saying, and much more for content.

As guidance: Many people find it easiest to build their main argument around a list of what they see as the three or four most important issues or examples and then provide paragraphs supporting each point. That is a perfectly acceptable way to do this paper and keep it organized.
