We want to assess for patient cognitive understanding of medications and importance of safety when moving around (Giddens, 2017)
We want to also further assist the patient with assessing for pain when moving (Giddens, 2017)
CBC- with this test we can see where his blood levels are such as calcium levels which assist with bone growth as well as protecting the bone (Giddens, 2017)

Insulin Glargine – (Lantus) Subcutaneous, 60 units daily is a long acting insulin that is given to patients that have type 1 and 2 diabetes (Rosenthal, 2019)
Insulin Regular – subcutaneous 5 units – 4 times daily- short acting insulin that helps treat patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes (Rosenthal, 2019)
Lisinoril Tablet- oral 20 mg daily- high blood pressure medication. (Rosenthal, 2019)
