Prior to beginning work on this assignment read and review Chapters 1-13 from Introduction to Leadership: Concepts and Practice, review The Only Business Writing Book You’ll Ever Need text, review the Week 5 – Weekly Lecture and the List of 50 Leaders  Download List of 50 Leadersdocument. Additionally, review the Making PowerPoint Slides: Avoiding the Pitfalls of Bad Slides (Links to an external site.) presentation, the How to Make a PowerPoint Presentation (Links to an external site.) resource, and previous weekly assignments.

This week’s assignment is a PowerPoint presentation that will provide the following information:

In your presentation,

· Describe how your chosen leader exhibits the key elements of an ethical leader.

· Describe how your chosen leader exhibits the behaviors of an emotionally intelligent leader.

· Describe how your chosen leader exhibits strategic vision and empowers stakeholders.

Your PowerPoint presentation should be six to eight slides (not including the title or references slides) and include substantial speaker notes (no less than 100 words per each speaker notes section), include a minimum of two scholarly sources from the library in addition to the textbook, and adhere to APA guidelines. The Making PowerPoint Slides: Avoiding the Pitfalls of Bad Slides (Links to an external site.) presentation is a good resource to use for tips and guidelines for creating an effective PowerPoint presentation.

The Attributes of an Effective Leader presentation

· Must be six to eight slides in length (not including title and references slides) and formatted according to APA Style (Links to an external site.) as outlined in the Writing Center’s How to Make a PowerPoint Presentation (Links to an external site.) resource.

· Must include a separate title slide with the following:

· Title of presentation in bold font

· Space should appear between the title and the rest of the information on the title page.

· Student’s name

· Name of institution (University of Arizona Global Campus)

· Course name and number

· Instructor’s name

· Due date

· Must utilize academic voice. See the Academic Voice (Links to an external site.) resource for additional guidance.

· Must include an introduction and conclusion paragraph. Your introduction paragraph needs to end with a clear thesis statement that indicates the purpose of your paper.

· Must use at least two scholarly, peer-reviewed, credible sources in addition to the course text.

If you have questions about whether a specific source is appropriate for this assignment, please contact your instructor.
