Project date submission: end of week 13.

Project Discussion: Week 14

Due date: Submissions will not be accepted after the cutoff date

Percent of the Grade: 20% of the course’s grade

Method of Submission: Your file must be submitted by Blackboard; no other Method of submission

Groups contain: 5-7 students.

 

Choose one of the below systems and create a database for it using all the skills we have learned in Microsoft Access 2016;

· Hospital

· Dental Clinic

· Bank

· Library

· School

· Car rental company

· Airline company

· Super Market

· Mobiles Shop

· Restaurant

· Video store

· Football tournament

· Car service company

· Quranic database (Tafseer, meaning, Tajweed, …..)

· Hotel system

· Travel agency

Or You can suggest one and see if the instructor agree on it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Outlines

· Tables:

· At least 3 tables

· Choose fields and define appropriate data types

· Define a primary key for the tables

· Use the suitable properties (such as validation rule, validation text, and field size)

· Fill the tables with a real data (at least 8 records)

· Draw tables relationship

 

· Queries:

· At least 3 Queries

· Display data from one table

· Display data from multiple tables

· Use criteria to show data based on some conditions

· Use suitable operators (<, >, >=, <=, <>, =, between) in the criteria

 

· Forms:

· At least 3 Forms

· Modify headers and footers sections to include all necessary information (such as date time and title and some notes if you need)

· Choose appropriate layout for the form with good size for all controls.

· Make sure you use a mix of controls (text, option, combo,….)

· Add some commands on the form to make things easy such as the record navigation commands, form command, …. Etc

 

 

· Reports:

· at least 3 Reports (accept default settings in a wizard

· Add your name and section number in the report footer

· Add some controls (label, image, date/time, textbox,……etc)

· Group data and sort them according to some fields based on the report.
