Then you can write, “This debate leads to the question, [add your RQ here].” The last two sentences of the introduction should be 1. your RQ and 2. thesis (which answers your RQ).Body Paragraphs: Each body paragraph should begin with a topic sentence that clearly states the main idea and topic of the paragraph in your own words. As a whole, body paragraphs should be organized according to a clear structuring principle that arranges ideas clearly and logically, often from basic to complex ideas.
