If not, please reread ‘Why Rhetoric?’, review my slideshow on rhetoric (called ‘Introduction to Rhetoric’ which you can find under the ‘Rhetoric & the Writing Process’ tab), and reread WA2 & WA4, where we worked with rhetoric. If you are still confused, you could also read the optional text ‘What is Rhetoric?’ which is under the ‘Course Readings’ tab.Inkshed 4 is a review of all these rhetorical terms. I would like you to name and/or write a short description of all of the following rhetorical features in Anne Lamott’s article ‘Shitty First Drafts.’ Feel free to do these questions in any order.What is the main idea of ‘Shitty First Drafts’?Who is a likely audience for the article?What effect(s) does Lamott want to have on that audience? (This is a question about exigence or purpose.)Does kairos play a role in this article? Why or why not?What genre constraints does she have?
