Your cousin finds a new job in Los Angeles working for the film industry. One of her co-workers, Sam, is also hired at the same time as your cousin. You find out that Sam has been teasing and even sexually harassing your cousin at work. Sam has even lied about your cousin to other co-workers, and has even lied about her to their bosses, telling them your cousin is unstable and having inappropriate and unprofessional relations with other co-workers, all of which are lies. Sam has taken credit many times for work that your cousin did, and has even sabotaged work projects that your cousin was working on. In the end, Sam gets promoted and your cousin loses her job. You confront Sam, and here is what Sam says:“You think I did something wrong? So what? That’s just what you think. Right and wrong are subjective, anyway. So, you’re not absolutely right. I’m right too. You need to stop being a crybaby about your cousin, and your cousin needs to stop being a stupid crybaby and weakling if she wants to survive in this world. If she can’t handle it, then she doesn’t belong in this world. The natural order of the world is survival, and it’s brutal. Only the strongest and smartest will survive.
