Each week you will have a module assignment. The topic will vary depending on our chapter(s) of the week or hot topics in nutrition. Module Assignment #6
Watch the entire 45-minute Peter Jennings report titled and write a 2-3 page reflection paper answering the following:
- Did you learn anything from watching this documentary?
- What was the most surprising part?
- What did you already know?
- Is the individual or the marketing/restaurant industry more to blame for our current obesity epidemic?
- What can YOU do to make changes to this system?
- Has watching this movie inspired you to change the way you purchase food, shop in the supermarket, deal with your children/food requests?
- Did you watch the movie with anyone? If so, what were their comments, and what conversation did you have with them about it?
Please include 2-3 direct quotes from the video in your paper. Please note you can also watch this video on YouTube but its broken into 5 parts on YouTube – you need to watch each part (they are each about 8 minutes long).
This paper is worth 20 points. Please submit in essay format (not just listed answers to these questions) – run a spell check, proofread for grammatical errors and remember these papers are expected to be ~2-3 pages long.
