1.     With application of the concepts learned in this course, the students will critically analyze 2 companies profiled in CEO stories from the following article.  Utilizing Textbook and secondary data research (peer-reviewed journals, published case-studies, company websites, google scholar – research articles, videos, newspaper/ magazine articles) to describe what the organization is doing in each of these areas using theory to explain why, also to analyse how well they are doing in each area, which includes looking at how the competition might be doing. Good analysis considers both the good and the bad when looking at an organization. Iidentify any problems/challenges and recommend constructive improvements supported by theory.

“The shutdowns caused by the Covid-19 pandemic forced Corporate America to embark upon a massive work-from-home experiment that presented many unknowns: How do we keep workers safe? Can we stay productive? What’s the best way to communicate and collaborate? “ The new challenges are “employee burnout, a tightening labour market and the prospect of new Covid-19 variants.” And some key needs are for flexibility, transparency, accountability, trust, requiring a new social contract and a shift in mindset. 

With the help of the concepts learned in this course, the students will critically analyze 3 CEO’s stories and company supported by secondary data research (peer-reviewed journals, published case-studies, company websites, google scholar – research articles, videos, newspaper/ magazine articles) to identify problems and recommend constructive improvements. Remember to not only describe what the organization is doing in each of these areas, but also to analyse how well they are doing in each area, which includes looking at how the competition might be doing. Good analysis considers both the good and the bad when looking at an organization.

• Analyze the organizational structure and culture for both organizations as they adapt to the changing environment . 
   
• What is the mode of communication adopted by both organizations? How do employees interact with each other? 
• What kind of leadership style these organizations prefer/follow? What is the management style of both organizations? 
• Explain how the organizational culture, structure and management style effects/relates to the success and failure of the organization?
• What is the HR Strategic planning, recruitment and selection strategy, performance/ talent management strategy of both the organizations?
   
• Based on the analysis performed propose suggestions and recommendations (5-6) based on the OBHR concepts learned in the course for both organizations.
