IN THIS CHAPTER and the next, I describe instructional methods you can use to help learners build accurate mental models. In this chapter, I focus on implicit instructional methods that do not involve overt learner activity. Implicit methods work by promoting mental rehearsals in the absence of external behavioral responses. Implicit methods that are proven to promote learning include: • Relevant Graphics • Personalized Instruction • Agent Question Dialogs

· Recreate the course design of your chosen course showing the key learning elements along with a minimal amount of content.

· The content should only be enough to guide you or an experienced instructor through teaching the course.

· Should not go as deep as a step-by-step what-to-say or do-next level of detail.

· Focus your attention on design elements used by instructor and/or students.

· Write a one or two paragraph review of the course
