Students will be assigned to teams. All communication must occur on the Group Discussion Board. Teams will be consultants. The consulting opportunity is posted in the Week 7 forum. Find your consultant team by going to Groups (under the Assignment Submission tab) > (your last name) > Group Discussion Board. Consultant teams will discuss the opportunity on their Group Discussion Board and develop management and marketing recommendations.

Part 1 – Due on Day 2 (on the Group Discussion Board):

Teams will elect a Team Captain. This Team Captain will be the individual that posts the final recommendations to the Main Discussion Board on Day 4.
Teams will determine a name for their consultant team. This name will be posted in the Subject line of the final recommendations on Day 4.
Each team member must post their initial thoughts/recommendations to the Group Discussion Board by Day 2 – there is no length requirement for this initial post. However, students are expected to actively engage in the group recommendation planning by Day 2 and through Day 4.
Part 2, Due Day 4 (on the Main Forum):

The Team Captain will post the team’s final recommendations to the Week 7 Group Activity thread on the main Forum. In the subject line, the Team Captain will post the consultant team’s name. There is no length requirement for the final recommendation. However, it is expected the recommendations are thorough and complete.
You are to engage (react/respond) to another team’s recommendations at with at least one substantial post by day 5. Your response should be roughly 250 words in length
This preceding portion of the Group Activity is worth 60 pointsfor individual students (Twenty [20] points can be earned by contributions to the Group Discussion Board by and on Day 2 of Week 7. Forty [40] points can be earned for the Group’s Final Recommendations to the Main Forum by the end of the day; Day 4).

By Day 5 of Week 7, each student should review and comment on a recommendation made by another team. For example, Jane Smith is a member of Team 1. By Day 5, Jane Smith will read the recommendations posted by the other teams – Team 2, Team 3, and Team 4. Jane Smith will provide at least one substantial comment to another team. Be specific. Provide depth.

Finally, you will be complete a Self and Peer Evaluation of your experience in Week 7. Please use the attached form and submit your evaluation by Day 5 of Week 7. Self and peer evaluation form(1).docx
