Job Summary: Under the direction of the Human Resources director, the benefits manager

manages all functions associated with the organization’s benefit program. They will design,

evaluate, and modify benefits programs and policies to ensure that they are current and in

compliance with legal requirements. The benefits manager must also administer, direct, and

review employee benefit programs.

Essential Job Duties:

• Developing and implementing new compensation and benefits programs, policies, and

procedures

• Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation.

• Communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related

issues

• Managing subordinate HR employees and daily operations related to compensation and

benefits activities

• Preparing budgets, reports, and presentations

• Experience with Federal and State employee benefit laws involving employee benefits (such as

COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, OFLA, etc).

• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications, data query tools, word

processing software, electronic mail and internet search tools.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human

resources, business or public administration, or a related field. CEBS/GBA/SHRM/SPHR/GPHR

certification desirable.

Production Worker Job Description

Job Summary: Under the direction of the production manager, the production worker handles

various duties in the warehouse. They will assemble and prepare goods for shipment while

keeping a clean and safe workspace and complete quality assurance testing on products. Move

materials or completed products and packages to established locations while maintaining proper

storage and inventory.

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs work in compliance with standard operating procedures and rotates through various

stations on the lines, where needed, to ensure production needs are met

• Performs general manual labor tasks including packaging, labeling, lifting, moving, and

loading product

• Complies with safety policies, the safety program and is pro active with safety concerns

• Monitor and inspect products for defects to ensure quality standards are met

• Operate machinery to assist in the production process, set up and control

• Maintain a clean workspace as well ensuring that the equipment is operating properly

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Able to push, lift, and pull products up to 50 pounds

• Able to stand up to 8 hours
