Management by Wandering Around is a style of management in which managers spend the majority of their time away from their offices in order to have face-to-face interactions with employees in order to build cooperative relationships. By doing this, managers are able to build relationships before they need something from their employees (Larson & Gray, 2018).

In the case at hand, the duration of the project has been shortened while maintaining the same goal, which obviously calls for a greater amount of time spent working than is typical. It is necessary for employees to put in extra hours. This information would be conveyed face-to-face to the recipient. At this point, you should communicate, motivate, and accept any feedback that has been given. The steps that are mentioned below are options that can be utilized in order to motivate employees in the scenario that has been presented.

When the project goal needs to be accomplished in a relatively short amount of time, it is necessary to have creative ideas and innovative solutions. In order to foster a culture of innovation and creative thinking at work, we must first establish a no-blame policy. In the event that anything goes wrong, both managers and workers will reflect on what went wrong and make adjustments to the procedure for the next iteration.

Engage in conversation with the staff members who are experiencing stress as a result of the high volume of work. Instead of working over them, you should work alongside them. Demonstrate to them that there is always someone who is prepared to support and assist them with any work-related issues they may be facing.

When working on challenging projects, it is essential to treat employees as though they are human. Provide each employee with a role and job title that they can be pleased with and take pride in. Maintain equality among all parties and do not show favoritism toward anyone. It is important to have reward and recognition systems in place.

When working on the assigned project, each employee is expected to maintain realistic expectations for themselves. It is necessary to pay attention to the input of employees and to appreciate their efforts. It is necessary to incentivize staff members to discuss and implement their ideas. In addition, it is necessary to get together on a regular basis in order to discuss topics such as recent business and work requirements, positive news, and difficult work-related issues.

It is necessary to provide constructive feedback and to lead by example in the project that is being discussed. Inspire your staff to take charge of their own initiatives.

Appreciate the hard work that the staff has put in, and acknowledge it. Don't forget to express your gratitude for the contributions. Make it a habit to give frequent, low-key rewards as a gesture of gratitude.
