I’m connecting complexity with adaptive leadership, and consequently, I may be conflating both with this line of inquiry: Our approach to leading complex organizations can be reflected in describing our relationship to change and uncertainty. I could be wrong in thinking that the degree to which we are equanimous with the complexity of organizations can be understood from our desire for organizations to be a certain way, our aversion to any policies and practices, and/or our indifference to organizational dynamics beyond purview. I am requesting, however, that you tap into your own experience to reflect upon the impact any of the exercises or readings have had on you thus far.
