Nurse Teams

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is a terminal degree awarded to registered nurses (RNs) and is the standard for professional nursing education. With the proper education and training, nurses can soon assume roles as nurse managers, administrators, and clinical leaders. The ability to regulate one's emotions and take stock of one's circumstances are leadership skills that every nurse practitioner should have. Master's-level nurses should be able to articulate a compelling vision for their profession's future. Also, a leader should be able to take calculated chances, embrace change and new ideas, reflect on their actions, grow from their experiences, learn from their failures, and show respect for the unique perspectives of everyone they work with. The Master of Science in nursing curriculum is structured to help students establish a comprehensive strategy for their professional and personal growth throughout the course of their working lives. It includes principles for success in school, in the workplace, and in the world at large. Completing the course objectives has equipped me with the skills necessary to assess, choose, and implement the most effective methods for providing care.

Academic Individual/Team

The academic individuals or groups with the best chance of succeeding in an MSN program and in the nurse practitioner role are registered nurses who conduct research and nurse practitioners who work in clinical settings. The domains of medicine and health sciences scholarship would significantly benefit me from the contributions made by nurse researchers. It necessitates the use of empirical procedures, such as the collection of data and the study of statistics. In order to work as a nurse, one needs a master's degree and a license to work as a registered nurse. I would receive additional training to better prepare them to instruct students who are engaged in high-level health care and advanced clinical practice. Dr. Bola Odusola-Stephen is my mentor, she will be mentoring me throughout the program. She is very experienced, and she has been through the program and very familiar with the processes. She graduated from her DNP program from Grand Canyon University and has been working a nurse leader and DON at very reputable hospital in Houston, Texas for the past 10 years. She will be overseeing my clinical practicum.

Professional Individual/Teams

Nurse administrators and nurse managers are two professional teams or persons that I should interact with to succeed in my Master of Science in Nursing degree and as a practicing nurse. Dr. Angela Sewer and Dr. Deborah Clark are two professional team members that will also be working with me and overseeing my performances through mentoring and directing me in the right places. They will also be supervising my projects. After completing these, I will emerge as a competent nurse leader with advanced skills which will empower, strengthen, encourage, and guide me. Two persons with professional and academic backgrounds have decided to pursue the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree since there is demand for it and it offers benefits. It will help me continue my nursing career in administrative tasks, which can lead to enormous income, a wide variety of professional alternatives, and acquiring new information. Additionally, it provides better duty hours (Abbott & Nininger, 2021). The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is supported by professionals in professional and academic settings who continue their nursing education to equip themselves with fundamental skills and be competent. I will emerge from this program prepared to provide patient care as a professional healthcare worker and as a nurse leader in a healthcare system that is both dynamic and complicated. The Master of Science in Nursing degree prepares students for advanced practice and primary care (Abbott & Nininger, 2021). My academic performance increases thanks to the MSN, which also helps nurses advance through the various levels of the nurse practitioner program, which ultimately enables us to practice on our own all the way up to the doctoral level.

Multidisciplinary Team

I would consider evidence-based practice and collaboration to help deliver excellent care and become a pillar in achieving the Master of Science in nursing degree. Working with other healthcare professionals broadens my understanding, which is critical to my learning (Nester, 2016). Through this program, health care providers will be better able to assess each patient's need, tailor their care accordingly, and use the information to advance in academics. Medical professionals can be better guided and equipped to work together in providing patient-centered care by establishing multidisciplinary teams in nursing units that add value to my learning on the master' 's degree. When everyone is clear on their individual goals, strengths, and responsibilities, then this tactic can work. They should keep their integrity and concentrate on the outcomes they expect. As a result, I have been teaming up with an array of specialists to serve better my patients' wide-ranging healthcare needs and learning capabilities (Davis, 2021). As I get ready to join multiple teams, I will have to play a variety of roles, each of which has the potential to improve the final product.

In conclusion, the primary areas of study for a doctoral program leading to licensure as a nurse practitioner are inpatient care, nursing leadership, education, and administration. The MSN program helps prepare nurses for influential leadership roles by developing their advanced nursing abilities, allowing them to communicate effectively with patients and peers in various healthcare settings.
