You will search SB Engaged/Corq and contact at least one organization you are interested in getting involved with.

You should also contact at least one additional organization that you are interested in but is outside of your comfort zone. Write a two-paragraph reflection on your experience by focusing on the following questions:

Why did you select these involvement opportunities?   How does the involvement opportunity outside of your comfort zone challenge you? What are some ways you know of that can help you in building connections and a sense of community here? What, if anything, might prevent you from getting involved in any of the above-mentioned activities, and how would you work to overcome it?

For this assignment, you are asked to write a letter to yourself.

You will be the only person reading the letter, so be honest! In the letter, include the following:

· How are you feeling about Stony Brook and college right now? What does it mean for you to be in college?

· Thinking about this semester, what are you most excited about? What are you most concerned about? 

· What things will come “easy” to you this semester and what kinds of challenges do you think you will have?
