Select one of the so-called “bad” countries listed below and compare the constitutional and governmental systemto that of the United States Constitution and U.S. Governmental System & Structure. Provide highlights of the economic, historic, political, and social context of the country.

The purpose of this exercise is to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate how well they understand the readings, supplemental information, and materials. Moreover, it provides the student with an opportunity to assess their research skills and expose students generally to different governments, with which students will need to be familiar in the Globalized economy, in which they will be operating and working.

Part Five: Product & Regulating Agency – * Identify a product and determine which governmental agency (federal, state, or government administrative agency) is in charge of the safety of the product. * Also, identify any outside interest (Lobby Group or Industry) that may be using their political power or influence to undermine that protection for the public. * Additionally, describe how that governmental agency is involved in the following:

The purpose of this exercise is to provide the student with a final opportunity in this course to practice public speaking. It also provides the student with the opportunity to demonstrate that they understand the reading materials; in addition to providing students with the opportunity to assess their ability to apply the information.
HINT: Part Six – 1 Incident 3 Stories/Narratives (PowerPoint)
Obtain a story, article, report, or news video of an Incident; and compare and contrast how the one incident is reported by three (3) different news/reporting sources (2 domestic & 1 international source – corporate, public, independent, alternative, etc. ) Sources are (newspaper, periodical, magazine Court Trial Transcripts, Television News Program, C-Span Book TV, etc. Consider the following in determining the importance of the story; 1) What were the similaritiesin the stories from the different reporting sources; 2) What are the differences in how the story was reported; 3.) How much time or space was dedicated to the story; 4) Was it the first or last storyreported (In the broadcast, or the Newspaper or Magazine), and 5) Was the story featured on the front page or the back page?
