This week your team will turn in a networking action plan for your scenario. The site attached here will provide you with an example of a template you can use, but you are welcome to build your own as long as you have the key elements.

The last column in the plan for results should be the results you expect the task to give you.

There is a second deliverable – your team should also prepare a 1 to 2 page summary explaining the action plan and why you have chosen to do the plan you put together, along with any other details you feel would help me in assessing the plan.

Social media networking should be addressed in your plan, even if it is minimal for your situation.

Team Project – Website

This week your team will build your brand and image by building a website. There are many tools available on the web to build websites for free. One is:

You can sign up for a free account with them or use other means at your disposal. It is not necessary for all of the content to be populated, but there should be place holders for items that you believe should be included. Pay careful attention to the image you are trying to portray. You will be circling back to this site later in the course and you can fill in some of those details at that time.

Keep in mind that part of your design should be incorporating ways to network and keep in touch with clients.

There is a second deliverable – a short paper that explains to me the image you believe your site to be portraying and why you believe it portrays that image.

Assignment 3

Team Project – CRM Design

This week your team will define the needs for your CRM program and do some research to determine what will work best for your situation.

You should prepare a list of “needs” in a robust CRM system that will handle what you believe you need to manage your clients’ needs and grow your business. The analysis should include reasoning behind items on the list.

You should then do a SWOT analysis of the various possible systems out there that might meet your needs. (minimum of 3)

The above link will take you to a sample SWOT analysis that you can modify for product SWOT, or you can create your own.

Finally, you should prepare a summary with the choice you believe to be best and why.

Individual Assignment – Personal Assessment

Based upon the readings and research to date, as well as any personal experiences and background – please prepare a 3 to 4 page paper that assesses your personal SWOT in regards to Client Relationship Management.

The results and information from Personality Poker can play a role in this paper, but other assessments are just as valid.

This should be an honest assessment; you will not be graded down for having weaknesses.

The paper should include a plan for moving forward to take advantage of opportunities and to remedy any weaknesses.

Team Assignment – Managing Growth

This week your team will prepare a brief paper that describes how your organization is going to plan for growth, including how you will be managing that growth. Be sure to incorporate SMART goals into the plan. Include as many aspects of the business that you can. This will be incorporated into your final project.

Team Project – Consulting Proposal

With your new organization you will tackle one of the cases provided and prepare a proposal (for internal purposes) that includes how you would approach the situation, what personnel you need, timeframe for completion and any other relevant information someone might need to determine understanding.

In addition, you will include a letter to the client that outlines your plan of attack.

Final Assignment – Team Project – Complete CRM Plan

Team Project – Complete CRM Plan

Prepare a final complete CRM plan for your organization that includes (but is not limited to) the following:

Branding

Image

Networking

Tools

Referral management

Managing growth

Measurement of success

The plan should also include a page from each individual on the team that outlines their personal plan for CRM – (Improvement/action plan)

The presentation of the plan should be done with voice/video as though you are presenting it to a committee. Visual Aides and Back Up documents should be included. (most of this will come from the work already done)

Technical/Editing issues will be overlooked and not included in the grading of this assignment when it comes to the presentations. However, spelling on ppt’s and other such items are part of the rubric.
