You have been working on various assignments in this course by working with a group of your classmates. But, is your group a team? Make the case that your group is (or is not) a team by responding to the following:

Describe the qualities of teams that set them apart from other types of groups. In what ways does your group have some (or all) of these qualities?

Describe the following types of teams: Executive, Project (such as negotiation teams, commissions, and design teams), Advisory, Service, Production, and Response. Which of these types would best describe your team?

Based on Hackman’s authority matrix model, what is the extent of your team’s autonomy?

Use the Input-Process-Output model to describe your team’s performance. Draw it graphically.

Describe the personality characteristics of the ideal “team player.” Do members of your group have these qualities? Give examples of behaviors that have demonstrated this characteristic.

What are the specific KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abililties) that each of your team members have?

In what aspects (if any) does your team have diversity? How has it affected your team’s performance?
